Why is it important for you to contact legislators?
You may be thinking to yourself, "Why should I bother contacting a legislator? I'm sure a lot of other people are going to contact them."
Wrong!
It's so important for everyone interested in this issue, including you, to contact their legislator and here's why: There is power in numbers.
The more a legislator hears from people about a particular issue, the more likely they are to support the issue.
Think of it this way, if it were YOU sitting in their seat and you only got 1 or 2 emails/calls about a specific issue, how likely would you be to support the cause?
But what if you got 50, 100, or 1,000 emails/calls, especially if a lot were from registered voters in your district? Bet you'd be far more inclined to support the cause, right?
